COMMISSION POLICY

SUBJECT: Timely Deposit of Receipts

The following policy applies to all funds received by the District both in the mail and in person at the counter.

Per state law, every effort will be made to deposit all funds within 24 hours of receipt.

Normally, deposits are prepared by the Accounts Receivable Clerks and transported to the bank by the District Treasurer. In the event that the Treasurer is not able to make the deposit within the required time period, he/she will arrange that another District employee, other than the person preparing the deposit, will take the deposit to the bank.
