Chapter 3.28 - ACCEPTABLE METHODS OF PAYMENT TO DISTRICT

1)

  • A. The district accepts payment for billings or sums due for all fees and charges only in U.S. funds. Payment may be made in U.S. funds by cash, personal check, cashier's check, certified check or money order.
  • B. Due to the fact that the district accepts only U.S. currency, it shall be a policy not to accept rolled coins in any amount for payment of any and all amounts owed. Further, due to the fact that it would take extra handling time, it shall be policy not to accept loose coinage in an amount exceeding five dollars. Where such payment is made in loose coinage exceeding five dollars, there shall be assessed a fee as set forth in Chapter 13.01 of this code.
