Chapter 5.12 - MOCK ASSESSMENT CHARGES

Whenever there is created within district boundaries, a utility local improvement district (ULID) which results in installation of water and/or sewer service which directly benefits property outside of the boundaries of the ULID, the district shall create a mock assessment roll for such benefitted property. When such property applies to receive service from the water or sewer lines installed through such ULID, it shall pay the amount of the mock assessment charges against said property together with interest at the rate charged for ULID assessments, from the date the ULID assessments are charged interest, before beginning to receive water or sewer service to such property.
