The minimum charge for segregations shall be the actual cost of the segregation and as set forth in Chapter 13.01 of this code, and shall be paid to the district at the time the segregation request is made. In addition, the property owner requesting segregation shall pay such costs incurred for engineering services in performing the segregation before receiving the segregation for filing, as set forth in Chapter 13.01 of this code. It shall be the responsibility of the property owner requesting segregation to notify the proper county authority of the segregation.
